Yup, been welding professionally for the last 5 or 6 years. I’m also a certified welding inspector . And I was a weld supervisor for 2 years. So any questions about welding , and ill try to answer
I used to do marine consruction until I broke my back. being unable to really sit comfortably and constantly standing is what got me into yoyo. Takes my mind of things and makes me smile. always try to find joy in the little things.
I am a computer consultant - which is a fancy term for “computer programmer for hire”. It is an interesting profession. Always something new and challenging.
I’m a quantitative analyst for a real estate focused hedge fund. That translates into thr fact that I stare at a a computer and play with Microsoft Excel all day. I create financial models for deals we’re either trying to buy or sell.
Having a throw handy for when I need to stop staring at those little cells helps keep my sanity.
I am still pretty young. I am 12 and in the 6th grade. I am advanced for my age, and when I grow up I would like to be a Pharmacist. My dad says it is a good job that pays fantastically and you don’t have to go to work for a long amount of time. You usually get off at 3-4pm and start at 8ish. So, ya that would be nice. I plan on saving enough money from that and then go to a job that I would actually like to do, not just something to make money. So that is my career path.
Well, I’m a senior in high school (12th), and that runs most of my life for now. I plan to start college in the fall, and I plan to major in the field of Aviation. I love to fly, and it doesn’t matter to me what gets me into the air. If nothing else, I may join the Army to fly. I plan to get a job within 4 months, and will continue to focus on school for the time being.
Dude thats awesome! I’m taking a first flying lesson in 2 weeks, and have seriously thought about taking a job in aviation later in life. And where you are thinking army, I’m on the fence about enlisting in the air force after graduation
I’m in 9th grade, considering either electrical or mechanical engineering… (I am in the silicone valley you know) ;D
If I do take mechanical… would I need to learn how to draw? Because my drawing… is only a little better than my ability to dodge bullets… and skydive without a parachute…
What do you mean what do I use? Like, welding type? We do TIG. Any other type would not work on material as thin as .025" and the like. Argon gas, blah blah…
im in 7th i will go to washington university or “UW” and will go through chemical science and computer programing and then will join the us ARMY and try to go through atleast 5yrs of training “minimum” and try to join the us border control if not will go through police or swat training BTW GO HUSKIES
Just curious why you want a degree in chemistry and computer programming to join the army and ultimately end up in law enforcement or the border patrol. A degree in law enforcement would appear to be a more straight forward approach for those goals.
Saskabilly_Psychosis hey i bet the huskies up thier r good i meant the border beetween here in us and mexico my goal is to take down a mexican with a 100-pond sack of marijuana just poped up in a dream lol
I would think that when you compare the income potential of a Chemical Engineer, or a Computer Analyst - you might find yourself re-considering that career in Law Enforcement.
