I was wondering if anyone else had these or were throwing those ![]()
Its definitely a classic.
Seemed like a good day to dig out the Duncan that I threw through part of grad school. ![]()
New string; zip, zap, zip, zap…yeah, I remember this…
Got a couple Greasebuckets on the way, couple of Sickburn blanks in hand – gotta start workin’ on some of my toys.

Fixed Axle Friday (more like very day) means time to learn a new trick. This is absolutely a funky one that still baffles me and has the same energy as “Fakie Regens” where very subtle movement can make or break the trick (i.e. the yoyo rotates off axis). This one I stumbled upon last night is known as “Anti Loops” and it really feels like a gravity-defying horizontal dribble/gravity pull. Object is to dribble/gravity pull the yoyo outward like a forward pass but not catch or even touch the yoyo…but instead dribble it back outward again keeping the yoyo on plane (it should not roll over like a traditional loop-the-loop). Hard to tell from the angle of the video but the yoyo does not actually make contact with my hand. I’ll have to practice this on a half-swapped yoyo just to be sure that the yoyo doesn’t rotate on me.
Hoping I can get some more reps in the coming days as I get the literal feel for this trick.
Patina on that is gorgeous, homie. Dang…
Beauty right there!
Indeed that’s very pretty, the contrast is insane!! How deep is that cup?
Boise woodworks makes some really great stuff!
5mm. It’s modeled after the natural series done in bocote. @Rich called it supernatural
I missed these they went super fast
This is a custom that rich made for me. I think he may do some for his store. You could always drop him a message and see, I know there were a couple he made in addition to this one.
He dropped like 5 a week ago in the store but they sold instantly
It’s been fun learning for me, especially trying to catch aerial’s and also switching the counterweight to my non dominant hand and doing my standard stall tricks mirrored
