Trying out the blank bearing in my el mijo sl, it’s a lot of fun but I’ll probably be sticking to the d bearing for the most part. What a great throw this is, can’t believe I nearly passed on it, I was trying to be sensible after some splurging but I grabbed the last purple once I’d regained my senses. Might be a perfect edc.
Now that’s a looker!
Nice photos!
I definitely see the shape resemblance - timeless and classic feel good shape.
Beautiful
I picked up this gem recently and haven’t put it down since.
However I don’t know anything about it.
Looking for some help for someone to shine light on it. maybe BC Yoyo?
Thanks
def has that laminate BC look, a lot like an Apollo.
Hello friend long time no see happy to see you back on here. No idea on this one but I agree it has a bc look to it
Yeah dawg, that lamp pics a new one. Never seen it before. Cool find though! Also, that’s a lot more green than ya norm see in bc throws. Just my opinion, but the green def sticks out.
Still love the yo-yos that started coming available in the late 80s. So superior to most of what was at the toy stores. It meant a lot to me to get a yo-yo I could finally hit some of the harder string tricks on. To me it was the golden age of yo-yos when you could get the No-Jives and find Hummingbird and then the BC yo-yos.
One of my boys got this wooden yoyo at the local Ace Hardware toy bin. Not sure if it’s the same as the Unisex yoyo challenge throws that were popular last month. This one was strung up correctly and the axle appears to be similar to an IKEA furniture fluted dowel pin. I have to say it’s rather legit and the axle actually gives decent response. The included string has also held together all week, all I did was shorten it as it was rather long out of the bin with out a loop.
