Love playing the Kasm guts in fixie mode. So snappy, so reliable.
Dang! How does it play? I love your custom fixies.
One of my faves from back before everything got so complicated. TK and Hummingbird yo-yos were the best!
Currently in the process of repairing some fixies with broken axles for @Ardeus
Thanks! It’s pretty good for slightly longer string tricks. Stalls and other fixie oriented tricks feel a little strange because of the extra rim weight.
Yo i been throwing this yoyo by @Ardeus ! It’s very dope and I love it! I like the diameter bc it fits my hands well and the subtle inner circle changing colors is nice bc I like seeing when the yoyo flips but it’s still cohesive. Response is silky and perfect tbh flips and stays on plane when i want like stable and easy to land on the string. Just a super good fixed axle yoyo. String has been taking forever to break in but works with the yoyo well and I’m low on thinner strings so I appreciate that it will last lol.
Edit ooo and the spin time on it is bonkers good
Glad you’re enjoying it, dude!
If there’s any problem, just let me know and we’ll take care of it.
that color is phenomenal! i def need an al rbc someday
Haha thanks, it was originally Navy but 2 years of daily play has worn the finish to a purple-pink colour. I estimate about 1000 hours of play so far.

Due for another update. Here is the write up of Blueberry from last Feb: Fixed Axle Friday Throws - #3407 by Xanadu
How do you set it up as fixie? I’ve tried some metal spacers that work decently and keep going back and forth between that and a glued up bearing. Curious to hear your thoughts.
What size bearing are you using?
Had the same thought. I have on my todo list modeling a fixed axle 3d print for mine since the glued bearing just doesn’t really hit for me.
I been using these. Flip flopping a lot with my RBC but I tried the A blank in my weekender and been really liking that.
I’m using a POM blank from Soulfuel in my RBC, and Teak Wood blanks for C, slim c, and D, also from Soulfuel.
I also have some of the blanks from mcmaster carr and they work alright for A bearings but not C sized bearings.
For the RBC, I like just filling a bearing with some epoxy.
