I’m not a judge for this or anything but generally a yoyo trick is performed and ends with the yoyo returned to hand and ready for the next throw. In this case the “trick” is a trapeze stall so anything outside of that is your call as long as it’s returned properly. That’s my take anyway.
I just now saw the complete list for the month and have a few questions.
1- when can bonus tricks be entered?
2- is it acceptable to utilize clips we’ve made before February?
Thanks!
Nice! Your string is super short, It might help learning to lengthen it a bit. Not as long as you would use for 1A, but a little longer than you have it.
Most fixie tricks are easier done with a gentler throw than 1A as well, giving more time to line up the catch.
Bonus tricks can be posted any time. However, they must be filmed within this month.
It does need to come back to the hand to complete the trick. Good luck and keep pushing onward!
Where can i find this please?
In the video description.
Dope, thanks.
My entry for week 1:
I just noticed that I took the long way 'round for the double or nothing. I need to learn that shortcut that you all seem to use. Yo-yo thanks to the design/print skills of @TheThrowingGnome !
Love it!!! That’s awesome.
I just wanted to check that submissions from today are in time for week 1. A few of us just uploaded today. Thanks in advance.
Thanks so much! Ill order some new strings as none of my other strings are cotton and i read that you shouldnt use other types.
Here we go, 1. Double or nothing to 2. makin’ da zines to 3. trapeze stall, to 4. trapeze brother stall.
The melting poly is a largely debunked myth. Use what you got! It will change response, so be prepared, but not necessarily for the worse.
Great to know! Thanks so much!!
Not the cleanest execution, but here’s my shot at three of the four tricks! (everything but double or nothing stall…) Imgur: The magic of the Internet
The sound effects are amazing! Also that yoyo looks enormous! What is it?
