Relaxing video!!!
Hi Rachel, I saw that you already got answer by some fellas! @Sleeper80 is right: actually in this video there isnāt much sleep because I keep mount and unmount. Anyway as @Eric_Newlin said: playtime will smooth the inner gap and help you get a little longer spintime. I also use to apply very little lipstick to the string loop, but be careful because if you exceed the yoyo will became ultra responsive and you have to throw quite some time to wear it off again
I uploaded to imgur like @TryCatchThrow did with his entryš
Sneak peak for next week, definite level up @edhaponik
The insta embed didnāt work for me so hereās a direct link.
The weather broke so I finally got a clip here. Please let me know if it qualifies and if I did it right. I tagged on Instagram. Thanks.

Welcome aboard! We need more luddites. Lol
It isnāt easy for me (or any of us, I guess). We just have had the luxury of time to practice playing with yo-yos. Also, there are a few of us who joined Ed Haponik on his deHcade revisit of only throwing a single fixed axle yoyo for a whole year. All of the tricks for week 1 were go to tricks for me last year when I just needed to zone out and throw
I had started getting āOKā at Trapeeze stalls with Modern Responsive.
This fixed axel is way more of a Challenge for me.
I am finding, even if I land the Trapeeze stall, I struggle to get it back to my hand after the dismount.
Is a Trapeeze Stall, Dismount, regen, catch acceptable for a entry?
I am no where near the other 3 tricks yet. But they are on the To-Do list.
Never Give up, Never Surrender.
I believe you get a name in per trick, so Iād think partial entries would be welcome!
something i do to make sure i get enough spin to return is use my non throw hand to try to throw it down harder after popping out of the trapeze stall to get more spin to return to my hand, i also do it going into a regen. but iāve also been familiar with fixies for a long time and practicing these new 0a tricks since summer last yearā¦ next couple weeks are looking scary to me.
I am just trying to get a clean trapeze stall on camera so I can get one entry haha All these tips are super helpful!
Me too.
Ok, I think I finally got a usable trapeze stall. If I manage to get another trick in, would it be ok for me to update this post before 11:59 pm EST on the 3rd? (Iām in Australia and just realised technically I still have another day to work on these!)
Iād accept it.
