I havent played it yet, but watching some videos it seems pretty similar to the last game. I may give it some time for more reviews or a sale

HL2 has a unique atmosphere which I just canā€™t get enough of. Sure a vouple of levels get a bit tiresome on replays (I donā€™t really care too much for the vehicle based ones) but that is only a very minor issue.

There is a great mod for HL1 called Echoes which is free. Check that out too! :slight_smile:

Its fantastic! A bit harder than Doom 2016. But not so hard u go nuts. If i share too much it might spoil some things but im not disappointed in the least. So far this game has been worth every penny.

I know im a Doom fan so i may sound biased but im pretty quick to say when a game is released buggy or unfinished.

They took things ppl loved from Doom 2016 and ran with it i think. Like the executions and gore. It focuses HARD on the fast paced combat. If u stop moving for a secondā€¦ you die. The campaign is just directed so well. I havnt even touched multiplayer yet.

they incorporated seasonal unlockables and stuff. Mostly cosmetic stuff. And a ton of challenges to work toward. I havnt seen any of that pay to play bull.

Played through Celeste and loved it.

I had some momentum going for video games and then lost it again to yoyo.

Anyone else still play their Gameboy? From time to time I play Duke Nuke Em and Ecks v. Sever which are first person shooters and very well done. My Gameboy Advance SP is 18 years old and still awesome!

I still play plenty of Gameboy games! I had a Gameboy colour that I backlit, but Iā€™ve always wanted an original.

I tend to play a lot more emulated ROMs now though on my LDK console. Loved the Pokemon games and Links Awakening.

I wish I still had the attention span to put in an hour or two each day and really get deep into games like I used to. I have a PSP and completed Medal of Honor. I donā€™t even have enough attention span to play with the same yoyo for more than 15 minutes unless I take just one on a long walk. In highschool I had a few handheld games. Space Invaders is the only one I remember the name of. It was the early mid-80ā€™sā€¦

Right now Iā€™m playing Divinity: Original Sin II with the occasional My Friend Pedro break. Both are excellent games.

I game on xbox and switch if anyone wants to play. Currently playing Doom eternal and Risk of Rain 1 &2 mostly on the xbox.

I might play 1 with my oldest son here soon if i cant figure out if 2 has local co op. I know 1 does

Update. Risk of rain 2 doesnt have local co op lol. But im having a blast playing 1 with my boys
