Last night I opened up a mystery box X and got my SuperStar 2016 and fell in love shortly after.
Took it to work with me today and threw it at work behind the counter (as Ive done a million times) and for some reason, i throw a rouge throw, my NTH’s index during trapeze of a good breakaway decided to go stupid and let the string slip off. Never really happened before so it took me by surprise as it came at my face. I jump back with my ninja reflexes and instead of it hitting my face, it decides to hit my name tag, hard, bounce off to the top of the glass case with a deafening clang, just so happens to not hit glass top, but rather right on the corner, so the damaging blows went direct to the soft aluminum and bypassed the SS.
Nothing serious, and it being YYF im not worried about it at all, but it was funny that on the first “day” i wrack up 3 dings in one fell swoop.
It still plays like a boss tho. Once those red pads broke in at least. Until then I was very much . . . "uhhhh…
