Cubing Corner

Yeah. Can you tell me whether you use m2 or old pochmann for edges? I was hoping to get 1000. Rats.

I use m2 I believe
You’ve gotten quite fast. Sub 30 4bld I presume?

Seconds? gasps But yeah, I guess that’s about it. I have a bunch of questions for you

  1. Just want you to be sure you’re using m2, old pochmann uses algorithms, m2 uses none (except for maybe parity, I never learned M2 fully). So does it make sense that M2 is what you’re using?
  2. What’s your letter scheme? Please be very careful in describing this so I don’t have to ask again. For example, if, for corners, your U face has A, B, C, and D, tell me maybe that the top right (or left) sticker is A and it goes clockwise, and that the F face starts with E and so on. Do the same for edges. Or maybe show me a video that you use. If you’re not using a letter scheme, learn one.
  3. Can I give you a scramble and memo to see if you’ve got the hang of execution? Because it looks to me like you need help on memo.
  4. Can I see the tutorial you’re using?

Yes I am using m2 for edges.
Letter scheme is for corners. It goes in alphabetical order, from top left as a, top right b, bottom left c, bottom right d. So that order for each side. Edges are the same but just clockwise on each side.

I haven’t really started memo yet. Just doing sighted solves ATM.but for edges, the buffer piece is db and it swaps with bu, correct?. Sometimes I put the edges in flipped, and I don’t know how to fix this problem. I mean I can’t do the right set up moves. I hope that makes sense.
I am using Noah Arthur’s cubing world tutorial.

For my letter scheme I can make a video tonight. I can’t really explain it well enough.

Woohoo!

Fmc pb. I could likely get around 31 if I inserted a different 3 cycle earlier but I’m to lazy to look for one.

Your buffer should be DF and your target UB.

Sorry that’s what I meant. I’m dumb lol.

Letter scheme’s a lot quicker than just sighted.

I’m just working on execution and learning how the method works I mean, with my eyes open.

Oh, I see. Haha, get it?

43.9 OH. I think that’s a pb (but I’m sure I’ve beaten that when I haven’t been timing).

topbanter

That’s definitely a respectable time OH.

I’m actually doing really well with f2l right now. It’s so much easier than roux. I just got a 22.86, so I’m feeling pretty good right now.

That’s the thing with cfop, it’s easier to get fast at first. Great job. And look ahead is hard with roux.

totally

Yayyyy! 16.12 ao5 one handed pb!

I can’t beat that with two hands no average haha

I’m getting a little faster at feet

Lol feet. What’s your pb? I’ve only done two solves ever but mine was pretty lucky. Winter variation and a u perm. 5:30 or something

Probably a little under 5 minutes for me. roux is waaaaay better though. Plenty of time to look ahead when you’re traveling at my speed haha. Btw, just got a 20.48 using f2l. That’s my f2l best
