But how do you ‘train’ to get faster? Just keep solving the cube or do you have to learn faster methods or something?

You have to learn to do your algorithms faster. And I think after a while you learn algorithms for every possibility.
The main part for me personally is drilling my first two layers. So I plan the entire cross and usually my first pair during the 15 second inspection. Then I just try and make finishing the rest of the pairs as fast as possible. Last layer really just comes down to recognition and algs.

Anyone getting the new rubiks speed cube?
Nope! doesn’t seem worth the money compared to other nice speed cubes. I’ve heard its too fast and catches a lot.
No. I tried it a few months ago (I know cyoubx personally) and it was good, but just not up to par with new cubes.

Also the Internet should formally change the name of the Megaminx to the Devil’s rubiks cube. There are pentagrams all over that thing and I am pretty sure you briefly gain the devil’s powers when you solve it.
