CLYW YETI

I have owned old clyws but this is bad

All these good reviews of the Yeti make me sad I can’t play mine for a couple weeks. Glad you guys are happy with your purchases! At least when I get back I’ll have quite a few CLYW throws waiting for me!

I didn’t even bother throwing it with the Center Track. I swapped it for a 10-Ball right off the bat. Maybe you should swap the bearings and give it another throw.

I could not agree with this more. I wouldn’t even know where to begin if I had to compare the Rally and the Yeti. They are both just ridiculous. ;D

Also, the spare spacers were a pleasant surprise, as I was not aware that they would be included. An awesome nod to their customers by CLYW.

Eh, a little better

Said my yeti should be delivered on the 14th

It wasn’t… Kills me having to wait another day

I got mine today. It’s super good, but the Rally seems a little more high quality to me.

I’m loving the Yeti though.

When I tried Michael Kurti’s, his had major vibe. Not even vibe, that thing wobbbbbled.

Did it have engravings?

I got mine today, it has very little vibe, you can’t tell that it’s spinning on the string, other than the noise, which isn’t bad for a plastic. I really like it so far. ;D

Don’t remember

Did everyone get an extra Yeti sticker? I don’t think I did :frowning:

All of the proto’s I ever saw had the engraving… The engraving was part of the mold so it makes sense that it was always there…

No the early protos didnt have engravings as far as I can tell heres a quote from Chris.

ā€œAgain we had some without engravings that were early testers and such.  BUT it looks like I’ll be personally testing all 1000 of the first run.  Hope my arm doesn’t fall off.ā€

Its located here

That is strange…  Hmmm  Well the ones I played at MA States all were engraved

I just assumed that they beat the heck out of them…  (They sure looked it)

I know after I saw it I was wondering how they got those on. Because they arnt really engravings are they? There on top of the rim not carved into it?

Yea they stick out…

Hmmm wonder how they did that.

Injection Molded, So think ā€œcastā€ from a mold  not machined. thats how they stick out.

Technically they are still engravings. They are engraved in to the mold and then when the plastic is pours in the logo is embossed on the rims.
