Yeah I think it’s your last thought maybe lol. I don’t know though. It’s 6160 with polycarb. I think the Goodlife did something similar with the first pharoah they made. I think it had acrylic inside the rims? Just thought of Jeffrey pangs new polyform stuff too. Not sure of the benefits if there are any.
If it makes the sounds my shooting star does because of the poly carb rims I’m into it. And just cause I’m still hyped on mir kims performance. Haha
It’s got brass rims under the plastic. From the description:
Hybrid construction of 7075 Aluminum, Brass, and Polycarbonate delivers everything the world’s best could hope for. The extreme rim weight of Brass is in a smaller diameter balanced with the polycarbonate cover for both durability, protection, and increased diameter.
The one I posted above I believe is a new mir kim yoyo called the Kim23 with just 6061 and polycarb rims. There’s no description on the website but it’s only $60 so Im assuming this one doesn’t have the brass rims. I think there was a post on YYF Instagram or something about it being just 6061 polycarb?
I just looked on Facebook I guess this is like a soft release they did on yoyofactory and mir kims website.
I agree it’s cool but I feel like the miracle line has the ability to become the new standard like the shutter was. I want mir kim to sell a ton of yoyos so he can keep pushing his yoyo career. I just wonder if all this plastic stuff is a gimmick when they could be releasing something on par to what the shutter was in its day. Just my random thoughts without ever playing the yoyo though. I hope I’m wrong. It looks cool none the less and I’d like to try it.
What’s up with Werrd? I’d heard of them but never seen anything in the couple few years I’ve been trying to keep up… until Worlds last week and they seem to have released more new (to me anyway) stuff than anyone for the contest. Their site doesn’t seem to have much to go on and they don’t seem to have an official topic here. Thanks.
Site and such is in the process of being updated, our new products heading to stores soon. The range we’ve got coming out should have something to suit almost anyone.
We’ve never been fully gone, just waited until yo-yos were fun for us again.
I can see those are monometal with the plastic rims, the shape seems a bit different from the Miracle, sadly there is no one that have tried it and still I haven’t read a lot about the Miracle probably because is expensive as hell, wondering if it will be better to get a Miracle second hand or the Mir23 new as they will be pretty much the same price in this way
