Beard blues (or lack thereof)

Shaved my beard off yesterday morning. I’d had it for well over a year.

I just look plain weird now and my family think so too. My four year old son almost cried at the suggestion that I might keep it off.

I’m growing it back so I don’t have to look at this weirdo in the mirror each morning.

Perhaps once you beard, you can’t go back. :bearded_person:

When my oldest child was five years old I shaved my beard off while on vacation. She cried hysterically. I grew it back and have had it ever since. She’s 31 now lol.

I’ve had a similar experience. My wife even though I looked wierd. I brought up how I didn’t have a beard when we got married and she said “oh yeah, what was I thinking”

I shaved off my beard right before our 1st kiddo was born, and it was weirrrd. I kept the creeper stache though.

Yikes… That was back when I had really long hair too.

Haha… nah, that doesn’t count unless you shave it all.

Ughh, I haaate shaving my upper lip. You’ll most likely have to grow yours back Glen. I’m sure your baby face will get more normalized as the days pass though. Every now and then you just have to shave off you beard

Yeah, me too.

It doesn’t matter how sharp your razor is is feels like your lip is being attacked by a wild animal.

This might help your son until you get your beard back.

I would personally suggest the barbarian or Viking version. Manly for sure!

Those do look pretty warm

I bet they make people smile and that’s what’s really important!

A little warm here today for one of these. It’s almost 100 degrees here.

Yikes! Eighteen inches of snow on the ground here, still snowing, and close to zero degrees.

A couple of years ago, right before new years I shaved my beard off.
Straight away I didn’t like it, so I grew it right back.
Can’t see me doing that again !

I wish I could grow a beard! You guys are lucky. I inherited a lack of facial hair from my Dad. He says it is from our Native American blood.

I never really thought about that. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a native American with a beard.
