The modern way this normally plays out is to buy a bimental the moment you begin yoyoing and then when you are older, buy a responsive.
When you have money for one and find one that appeals to you. 0 reason to gatekeep yourself from enjoying the hobby. Practice matters way more than what yoyo youâre using, so get things that make you wanna get up and practice.
I went offstring â plastic â mono â responsive
I got my first bimetal around 10 months in of playing unresponsive. Honestly it doesnât make that much of a difference compared to my recognition. My recognition can handle everything it can.
I started yoyoing again a few months ago after a short ~20 year break .
Iâve read a lot in the forums and watched videos on YouTube. I learned that Bimetals (or even Trimetals) are a thing⌠and that many (not all) people like them.
I immediately wanted one⌠to try it out for myself. And because I sometimes like to collect things.
When I read that they can make tricks easier for beginners due to increased stability, I was 100% sure I wanted one. (I ordered a Klondike a few days ago).
Let us know how you like it!
when youâve found one you like and can afford it. looks like youâve a klondike on the way, excellent choice =]
