4th Annual NH yoyo BBQ

I find it strange how hivemind we are. I made this earlier for a terrible joke.

Thatā€™s pretty funny. Whatā€™s the actual context? Is it some sort of escort mission?

Patā€¦that looks like the same grass in your photos too. Were you on the other side of the park?

Hiding from usā€¦hmpf. :stuck_out_tongue:

Pilot crash lands between two enemy forces in a large clearing. Both sides attempt to retrieve him, presumably for information, and contain him at the urban for 20 minutes while the other side tries to capture him back. Drag rules are, if youā€™re touching him you can move him, if heā€™s shot it doesnā€™t count for you, but if youā€™re shot, you drop him and he moseys back to the center at a slow pace so you can attempt re-capturing him. The plane is in the first picture, and youā€™ll notice itā€™s a terrible plane because itā€™s actually a bus. I figure this is why he crashed.

So what happened was, the game started, we all ran from our spawns to the clearing, contained the side with the ā€œplaneā€, with the two enemy squads further up the clearing with trees and sandbag barricade, and the pilot standing in the center. I move to the right of the bus and spot four targets behind the sandbags for the rest of my squad (third picture); I take out two, team takes out another two. Thereā€™s a brief lull in fire, so we seize the opportunity and supply suppressive fire on the enemy players left while I run and rescue the pilot.

After a brief pause behind the bus, we form a staggered interval and sprint back to the urban to hold him while the other squad holds the other team back at the field. The other squad did a fantastic job holding them back, because we hardly saw any enemy contact while we held the urban and the pilot for the last 20 minutes of the game.

Well, I /was/ in New Hampshire, and I /did/ have a yoyo in my grenade pouch. Close enough!
