There’s also Galaxy Blast. No manufacturers use it to my knowledge, but I think MiamiBuddha knows something about it.
Thread is up in the General forum:
Thought it best that I give it it’s own topic rather than clog up your thread.
Can’t wait to get my Bass Line 2 and put that fellow under the lens.
That’s awesome man! Glad to see you went through with it!
The HighSpeedYoYo review of the Bass Line 2 is up now! Be sure to check it out here: http://www.highspeedyoyo.com/reviews/a-m/3yo3/3yo3-bassline-2 and pick one up today ;D
You’ve seen the official review, now let’s hear from some of you who have bought/thrown a Bass Line 2! What are your thoughts about it?
If someone isn’t a fan, I’d love to take it off your hands.
Funny you should ask, I was just finishing my first ever review for the Museum, something I hope to do more of in the future. Pictures will be added tomorrow (left my camera on the desk at work), let me know what you think.
Thanks so much for the awesome review!! It is an honor to be the first yoyo reviewed by you for the Museum ;D
Anodized Aluminum Kendama!!! Coming soon ;D
You should try blasting the tama and cups. It might provide a better grip for balance tricks.
That’s a great idea! We’ll definitely experiment with that
You could give it a rubber coating for grip
Is there a way to design it so it doesnt clank too loud?
Hmm… make it out of wood? lol
Seriously though, I think the sound is a big part of what makes it so awesome! That clink when you land a lighthouse can’t be beat! Almost reminds me of a sword fight haha
I have only had my Bass Line 2 since today, but after an hour of play I would best describe my experience the following way; Hee hee, hip pop, shimone!
I was torn between this colorway and the citrus, but already had purple ultra lights that I wanted to use, thus the decision was made. Incredibly smooth and can’t feel a thing at the end of the string or on grinds. Good gravey this yoyo is so much fun! If only it made real life rejection so smooth and feel so good. Gotta go. The pied piper (Marcus Miller, is that you?) is playing that funky bass line.
Haha right on! Thanks so much, really glad to hear you’re enjoying it!
any news on the bassline 2 splash restock?
Didn’t mean to necro this thread but, Landon’s website looks like its been taken over…“hacked”
Also his FB page hasn’t had an update in while.
Hope everythings going well!
You should check in with us every now and then lol.
I thought the URL must have gotten sold or something.
I got a Bassline 2 recently after always enjoying my original Bassline. It’s a shame the MarkMont Classic came out, an amazing yoyo, of course, and kind of overshadowed the Bassline 2. It’s really fun to play and get better on. Great finish. 3YO3 has really had some crazy yoyos, some great yoyos, and some crazy great yoyos.
