I fell asleep last night and missed the second drop. : So, here’s how it went down today. I was at work and locked myself in the unisex bathroom at 9:55AM. I used Vegabomb’s strategy, and put an X box in my cart first. Then, I put a B box in there and checked out. I had 3 bars on my cell phone, and thought it might be too slow. But, I was successful for the first time trying from my phone. ;D
So, now I have A + B + X + X. Double the X box. ;D
I also noticed that on both drops there were more A than B boxes. I’m totally satisfied now.
Undersized bimetal would be interesting. Many undersized throws that I’ve experienced suffer from stability issues, so pehaps a bimetal design would be a remedy to that
I don’t know where the post is, but I suppose it could still make sense now that I’m thinking about it. If it was just “Normal Mystery Box” + “Mystery Box X”, people would be at risk of dupes in “Normal Mystery Box”. But by having “A” and “B” you can safely buy 2 boxes (plus the “X”) with no clashes.
So I’ll just g’head and admit I was wrong about it “not making sense”. I still didn’t get the same impression (would have to read Garrett’s post; I’m just going by the impression Ben gave me), but I was wrong that it wouldn’t make sense.
