YYJ thin lube question.

I have a yoyofactory konkave bearing. First time lubeing so a few questions.

  1. Do I have to take the bearing off my yoyo to lube it?
  2. The sheilds are on, Do they need to be off?
  3. How many drops do I apply?
  4. Where exactly do I apply the lube? Outside edge, inside near axle, inside bearing?

Take the bearing off the yoyo .
Take the Shields off both sides
two drops directly inside on top of ball
you should clean in min spirit then oil
can of compressed air will get any excess out

That bearing is already cleaned skip the cleaning process unless you think something sticky has gotten in their.
I remove and never replace my sheilds on my bearings. Look up why bearings have sheilds and you will understand.
and with thin lube add 1 or 2 drops. it will play a bit responsive for about 1-3 hours of play then it will be like new again. thinlube doesn’t keep a bearing responsive for very long at all. Durning that breakin in time change strings every 30 mins of play or so. The string will be sucking up a lot of the lube. even polyester string.
