YYJ Chaser or YYF Protostar?

Hey guys, I wanna know which of these two yoyos are better in terms of:

  1. Speed
  2. Stability
  3. All round playability

1: Yup, both got speed. I think the Chaser is a touch faster, but it’s way heaver, yet plays light on the string.

2: Yup. Both are exceptionally stable.

3: Both are great all around players. I don’t see the Chaser being used in competitions though. I do see the Protostar used a lot.

4: Noise: Protostar is a lot noisier than the Chaser. While it has no impact on performance, I just thought I’d shoot that in there.

I have both. I actually enjoy the Chaser a little more, but if you’re deciding between the two, it’s really a tough call as both are great and are similar shapes. I think the Chaser was actually designed to compete head to head with the Protostar and Northstar.

I prefer the feel of the protostar more personally. The width feels more comfortable in my hand
