Anyone have a Sleipnir/Gleipnir/Mr. Butcher they’d be willing to trade?
Is the draupnir your favorite yoyo of all time? Your favorite YYR?
I can’t speak for him, but it is probably the 2nd best yoyo ive ever used, and the best YYR
Second to? …
the pulsefire, only because it is meant for exactly my style and needs. Yoyorecreation makes amazing yoyos, and when I’m not using the pulsefire or crucial yoyos, I still love YYR and I love owning them.
Laser on sale!
56 dia 40width 68g
Looks like a Dazzler x Triplet.
LOOKS DARNED GOOD
But it looks to be solid 7075 Alu. No steel rims etc.
^ Thanks for the heads up mate! I question how it can perform so well with so little (perceived) rim weight. At any rate, I’ll wait until some of the more die-hard YYR fans here pick some up and give us some reviews.
No problem!
And Very agreed haha!
Hasn’t this been already answered? The way that it can perform so well with so little rim weight is because the makers are wizards/alchemists!
Ordered. It’s bi-metal i think, just has the weight lining the rim which could be interesting. Probably a bit heavy for my tastes but we’ll see!
Really? I don’t see the second metal!
Anyone know if we are going to see ano’d lasers?
I ordered one too. It looks like the second metal is inside the rim this time. As I understand the YYJ patent, the Lazer would not infringe; since that patent only covers multiple materials on the outside rim edge.
That may be the real breakthrough…
100% now that i look at it closer. Color and obvious seam. Don’t think i’ve ever seen a bi-metal have quite this design. So pretty. Will look stunning in ano. <3 YYR
For sure, but from raw to ano for the Draupnir took at least 3 or 4 months. Maybe since they’ve got it all sorted out they’ll be quicker.
I see it now, I’m on the fence, I really want one, but it’s so heavy!
If I am right about the YYJ patent, I wonder whether the ano’d Lazers will be heading for retailers?
Guessing it’s gonna play like a Gleipnir, which i do find a bit heavy, but then again rim weight does some interesting things so we’ll have to see.
I’d say they’re probably happy with the margins they get selling direct, but they sell Draupnirs at atleast 4 or 5 Asian retailers so maybe they will try and get more product over here.
Okay, so I know I’m a little late but what is the Draupnir’s made out of?
Thankyou Nathan!
And They’re Steel!
