Yeah but it’s also engraved. As far as i know engraving raw yoyos isn’t common practice is it? Certainly YYR don’t do it. So it’s a question of whether it’s raw and engraved, or whether they’re using a different technique as their usual clear ano dulls the shine quite a bit.
To me, that’s more of a hint towards it being titanium. Though a Ti yoyo with steel rings seems like it’d cost more than $200. Especially from a Japanese manufacturer.
What if i told you YYR has an all titanium model coming out named the Dazzler and that’s what Fujisaka used to win JN place 2nd? Akitoshi used the Draupnir btw.
Oops, sorry, yeah reverse those lol, so bad with Japanese names. So curious what the price will be though assuming it ever gets sold. They could either go super high-end and charge 30,000-40,000, or be smart about it and go for the Anglam in the 22,500-25,000 range. So much want. Also apparently they were selling B-grades for 3,300Y at JN, i think i would have bought every single one for that price.
I was first looking the dropner,or however you spell it, and I was thinking that it had a 6061 hub and 7075 rims. I’m suprised to see what’s actually going on it’s really interesting.
I also saw it mentioned by name on another Twitter account 1-2 days ago, but without the titanium mention at the time so i didn’t think much of it other than it was another model they had coming out. Sadly i forgot whose account it was, and can’t search for it since it’s in Japanese…
Thanks I beezy, I have a Samm Scott E=mc2 coming my way! If you guys know me you know I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time. Well the colorway at least since I have an E=mc2 already.
