I agree with everyone, a fantastic review. Makes me want a Draupnir, even though I had decided long ago that I couldn’t afford it.

The Draupnir is one of the few yo-yo’s that can live up to even the most elevated of expectations. I hope to hear your thoughts.
Anyone have the Draupnir raw/silver version and an anodized/blasted version? I have both and I think the silver plays a bit lighter and quicker then the anodized. Is it just me?
Im finally making a slow and steady return back to YYR and wanted to know which throws I should give a throw and which ones to add to my collection. At the moment I have an Attune and a DeadnoughtG, I did have a Messiah and Z-on at one point but that was long ago. As for throws im looking on picking up a Uragment, and Sleipnir before buying the bi-metal throws.
Also which YYR is best at rejecting the string because im adding some rejects into my combo and just need a YYR that rejects like no other.
depending on your style, the e=mc2 might be a good fit. solid and rejects super well. Definitely rejects better than what you have right now.
Side note: Got my Draupnir this week… Mah Gawd… Perfection. Arguably the best thing I’ve ever thrown period
Talking about the E=mc^2, I plan on picking up a emc2+2 but will start my search in a week or 2.
Thanks man, also keeping my eyes out for a good priced Draupnir on the side but it’s not a main want right now because they will always be here on hand on ether the forum and YYR site…but I can’t wait to own 1XD.

E=mc^2+2 is going to be super tough to find, bordering on impossible. Unless you know of one, then grab it ASAP. Personally i think the original Blink and E=mc^2 were perfect weights. You shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a nice, splashed emc2 around since there were loads of them in mystery boxes last year. I myself had 3 at one point but sold/traded 2.

I held out against the more expensive Japanese yoyos for a long time. I bought a Krown a while back during the 4th of July sale and my interest was peaked. I finally broke recently and ended up with both an Anglam CC and a Draupnir in the span of about a week. The only thing I ask now…
What took me so long? These yoyos are AMAZING.
They are fantastic throws but they’re definitely not cheap! I think the price of admission is what’s preventing a lot of people from taking the plunge.
And damn, that red Draupnir looks hot!

Yup. Gotta love the japanese yoyos. My first was a TP Max Bet. To this day, it is in my top 4. I agree with the 2 that you posted that I have as being amazing.

I have a folder on my browser bar that I open every day for stuff like forum reading. One of the pages I auto open is the YYR page to see if the anodized laser exists yet. I am sad every day it doesn’t.
