Don’t worry, with your attitude I’m sure they’re going to jump and answer your questions at the first available opportunity.

Idk Chimera you asked your question very polite, all 5 times; and still never got an answer lol.

yes and being sarcastic is a much more desirable attitude…

hmm it seems to me that this thread was never on topic…

It’s better than being obnoxious and hostile, and at least some can see the attempt at humor in it.

So it sounds like there are 3 “on topic” questions waiting for Ben upon his arrival,
1- are your China models made of a lower grade aluminum?
2- what makes your yoyos more expensive than other Chinese produced throws?
3- are your Chinese modles made in the same factory as MYY?

Feel free to ad if I missed anything lol

Honestly, it really doesn’t matter what factory they are made in within China. There are literally hundreds (probably thousands) of factories machining objects. Regardless of which factory they are made in, the factory will machine to your standards and specs using whatever grade of material you want.

It doesn’t seem like you have any more positive contributions to this thread, so it’d be better for you to just stop posting while you’re ahead. Anyway, GarrettMfnMoody, the first 2 I can answer, the last one, I can’t really, but that sounds very unlikely. Your choice whether or not you want to accept my answers. Yoyofactory’s Made in China models are not, I repeat, ARE NOT, of a lower grade of aluminum. This has been stated by Ben many times in the past, the only 2 that were of lower grade were the Yoyofactory JK and Superwide, the reason being they did not actually machine those two, just anodized and engraved them. The Shutter is 6061 aluminum, the most used aluminum alloy in the yoyo world, same with the DV888. The reason YYF made in China models are more expensive because of the quality control. You can’t expect every piece to be perfectly machined, with every tolerance met. Where Yoyofactory scraps these or labels them as B Grades, a company like Magic Yoyo anodizes and engraves them anyway, which reduces the costs. I think another factor is Yoyofactory is not purely a Chinese based company, like Magic Yoyo, and as a result, they get taxed for being a foreign business. There are more reasons, of course, but these are some of the reasons I think YYF Made in China models are more expensive. Also, if you want to talk about made in China YYF models being too expensive, I say direct your rage at C3yoyodesign, considering the Berserker SS is made in China and almost twice as expensive as the Space Cowboy, despite the materials used being the same.

^ Well done. I don’t think he’d be compelled to answer any of those questions about “China,” when he mentioned nothing about China in his original post for the thread topic. He did mention the U.S.A. though.

I am locking this thread for now. Thank you to all who made positive contributions along the way.

I will say this - this community was built to connect people that love the same thing together for good, positive, fun conversation. It was not built to to be a place to demand answers, make false accusations, criticize, or name call.

I will let Ben and others at YoYoFactory know they are welcome to make one final post if they so wish, but that is up to them.
