Yeah I think your right lol if I had known it was gonna be like this I would have gladly not signed up haha but my gift has already been given an is in the hands of crouton so I’ve done my part. I also find it funny that I thought the reason we had a feedback requirement was to avoid things like this? Can I not be tired of waiting? Haha is that not allowed? Ill gladly refrain from any future gift exchange that’s no problem. I should have known better anyways. I don’t even have free time when the post office retail store is open but I still shipped so I don’t understand what you’re even trying to say yomagic. I did my part and if the person who is shipping to me shipped before the deadline I truly apologize for being blunt and straightforward and not being patient, but I’m starting to think they shipped after deadline or maybe haven’t even shipped at all. What’s the point of having rules if they aren’t followed? Also you guys have mostly received your gifts so of course you’re going to act all high and mighty. It’s not even about the gift, it’s more on the accountability side, I signed up to be apart of the exchange & I FOLLOWED THE RULES, after all that’s what’s supposed to happen correct? So maybe you should be telling the people not following the rules that maybe they shouldn’t be apart of something like this, I did what I was supposed to do, so don’t come at me like that. Just because I tell it like it is and don’t refrain from saying what’s on my mind.

I can’t wait to hear all the responses that will come from the philosophers on this forum, always have something to say. When it all comes down to it all I said was I’m impatient and that the person sending my “gift” is slackin, if they take offense I apologize. Especially if you already shipped before deadline. I mean why was there a deadline if it didn’t have to be followed? Makes no sense. Sorry guys that I’m not one to bite my tongue

I also go to college 15 credits and all classes are tough, I’m in class most of the time that the post office is open. Sucks cause I haven’t been able to do any trades lately because I’m not sure when I will have time to ship. I think spring term I’m only gonna take 12, I didn’t think it would be this much of a workload. What school you go to?

Last time It took 3 months for me to get my package. Stop complaining its only been 3 days after people were supposed to ship. Be patient and you will get your gift

Is this last time?
Also instead of telling me to be patient you should tell people who haven’t shipped to ship after all they agree to ship before a deadline, or was that not part of the terms of being apart of this gift exchange?

I still do not have my gift, but go easy on the complaining guys. Some people just shipped today and some did not do priority. I was one of the first people to ship, and I do not even care about my gift.

This is not about the receiving, but the giving. I had a smile on my face that genji loved his gift, and that was the whole point of this!

You sir, have no place to bash the “philosophers” here. you are only a few month old member, with 22 feedback…You already seem like a guy who only cares about making money off of yoyos. I’ve seen it before too many times. People who Give crap, then get mad when they get the same, or resell their gifts becasue they aren’t CLYW or some other hyped brand. Now, am I saying you gave crap? No. But I am very offended that a peep who joined in October of this recent year dares talk smack about yomagic’s rules, and is just being obnoxious. So please, do keep your promise to not take part in on of these events again, becasue some of us are overworked, beat to all heck, and are a little late on mailing. I know I’m guilty, for the first time in two years. So please, learn some patience. And some manners while you’re at it.

I shall be posting pics of mello’s gift to me after I mail mine later tonight…I need to wash off, eat dinner first.

Bravo! well put.

hey I was not home so i just saw your post but glad you like them!

Ya know, at least for me, the GIVING is the cool part of this. I didn’t give anything crazy expensive, but I put some thought into what I sent and from the PM that Nathan sent me thanking me and saying he was very pleased with his gift, that is really what its all about for me. Honestly, I could have got nothing in return from anyone and I would still count my involvement in this as a win, just the same as i felt when I did it for secret santa this last Christmas. If you aren’t prepared to receive nothing in return, you really have no business doing this in my opinion. I think its a fun way to give back to the community and have a fun little game but some people are just making it into this big serious affair. This is not a Black Friday Mystery box, you are not doing this to score some high end yoyo on the cheap, and if you are, please do not participate in future events; You are just sucking the fun out of it for the rest of us.

In a nutshell, this is the best post here so far.

Giving in life should bring more joy than receiving. My father taught me that, even as his retired army body keeps getting worse. I think we all could use a good reminder, and Navythrow put it at its best.

I WAS LIKE WHAT when I opened my box. I GOT A WHIP!!! Then I pulled out a RAPTOR. Then a METROPOLIS!!! Then some polished yoyo that I don’t know what it is.
Thanks so much to whoever sent this to me! ;D
(I think it was geni)

That Polished yoyo is a Werrd TFL, from the looks…LUCKY!!!

Thanks! I was wondering what it was.
EDIT: it doesn’t have spikes on the side.
EDIT 2: it’s a maverick!

Lol nice try on your assumption about my 22 feedback but you’re way off, most are trades. What’s the difference with you judging me, and me speaking my mind? At least I’m speaking the truth, you’re just making an assumption. I did what I signed up for doing this gift exchange so don’t come at me like that kid, I also go to college and take 15 credits I’m in class during post office hours but I still shipped? And I even work on the weekends. I apologize that you took offense to what I said but I will always speak my mind, that’s how I’ve always been. That’s how more people should be, no need to stay quiet. Just like if you’re in like in a grocery store if someone cuts are you gonna stay quiet? You might but I wouldn’t, I don’t let people get away with stuff like that. I’m curious, what if someone sent only a whip to someone but received a really nice gift, would that be okay with you guys? I mean the rules say $30 or do the rules not matter anymore? All I’m saying yomagic implemented rules and guidelines what’s wrong with me telling people they should follow them? Come at me however you want offstring Stewart but I did my part, I did what I signed up when participating in this gift exchange. So if anyone shouldn’t participate in future gift exchanges it should be the people who didn’t have enough accountability to ship on time not me I did my part kid.

I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THE FACT THAT I DID MY PAR, I shipped on time, sent a gift worth over $30 etc etc but yet I’m the bad guy, you guys say I should be patient but if everyone had followed the rules this wouldn’t have happened  it’s that simple if people had done what they agreed to do this conversation wouldn’t be happening, how weird is that?

Mavericks are nice too…still…LUCKY!

that was from yoyospirit, i think.

Nope, it was from me  It’s a Factory Raw Maverick with a C sized bearing, it plays really nice actually, you would have sworn it wasn’t a yomega, but from the reviews on the Glide, it looks like they’re stepping up their game. I got it a while ago from someone who used to be sponsored by Yomega.

Yomega never really sucked, in my eyes. My First metal was the older Maverick. After the bearing was cleaned out, it played butter smooth…still have it, just lost the bearing. Either way, it’s an awesome gift!

is there going to be another gift exchange soon because i want to be apart of it!

nothing yet…
