It’s not really a big deal. If you want it responsive then you should buy some thick lube with it anyways. And if you want it unresponsive, clean the bearing. It’s not really that much work.

Right now, I’ only on the end of intermediate section
If you’re at the end of intermediate, the Dark Magic won’t be bad. You are pretty much ready to learn to bind then. If you are ready to start unresponsive, there’s no reason to not get a Legacy either.

The thing is, I already learned bind
My Big Ben came really unresponsive out of the box (odd, huh?) so I had to learn bind return.

The Dark Magic isn’t really better than the Legacy. The Legacy has a wider gap and I have heard from people that it’s actually smoother than the Dark Magic. But go with whatever you want to. If you can bind, then you’re good enough for any yoyo.

Well just to throw in another suggestion the yoyojam Bolt is extremely awesome, so awesome I traded my B-grade 888 for it, and a new breed, and a velocity and the bolt is only about 20.00 dollars, and has a wider sring gap than the legacy very awesome for finger stalls (when you get better) it also has little to no vibe about 2-3 grams lighter than the legacy and it doesn’t have weight rings but it spins longer than my legacy! So if you can find one DO NOT HESITATE.
