I’m not sure how to explain it but here goes.
When I go to do a string trick, generally a looping one the Yo Yo starts to lean or yaw in an undesirable direction. Im sure its something Im doing wrong/not doing.
It happens from the normal sleeper throw and the break away throw.
I’m only an intermediate player and have been throwing off and on for about 12 years now but have been getting seriously into it lately.
What am I doing/missing?
Well, your throw has to be straight for it to not tilt. I get that when i do breakaway sometimes. If its on the string, Trapeze for example, if you move your throwhand to the right it will tilt to the right, so keep your hands lined up. if they are uneven its going to tilt.
Sometimes it takes a little while and dedication. Your throws need to be dead straight. Sounds like that’s the problem. Just concentrate on throwing a straight sleeper, then a breakaway then you should be good to go.
