Yoyo CAD & Prototyping Adventures

How do I find that out? lol

Edit: Never mind, I got it. It is .03mm. I’ll tweak it a little.

Edit 2: I changed it to .75mm. 1mm seemed to change the edge too much.

Noice! I wish I could do CAD but my workstation’s Nvidia Driver isn’t compatible with the new Mac update, so Fusion 360 is glitching everywhere.

Take 2 of the mirror-polished cup idea, this time with a convex hub:

width 44 mm
diameter 59 mm
mass 64 g
axle 10 mm
material 7068

So do you just “print screen” like to screenshot ? Cuz I’d like to flex my design but I can’t get pics

Is this gonna be the next one fam?

A mirror in the center? I dig it.

Working on the mirror-cup thing some more, this time with two separate convex arcs creating the hub, and an h-shaped profile:

I think the specs are about where I’d want them, too.

spec value
width 44mm
diameter 59mm
mass ~65g
axle 10mm

So many cool naming possibilites with the mirror cup – and this is also a WAYY cooler design than so-called “polished bimetal style rims” (cough YYF).

Spyglass?

i gotta say, that shape looks comfy

Spyglass would be a great name! Other words I was considering were Reflection, Shine, Specular, and Phong.

You could call it a lunascope
