Yoyo brand comparisons

Try to make a yoyo brand compare to a store nowadays.

  1. Yoyo factory is like a Walmart

You silly mortal.

I agree with the yoyofactory and walmart statement. lol

really?

And what makes you say that…

How in the world is Onedrop compared to Target?

If anything, it would probably be a mid store that is not indy but not well known, perhaps like a regional based store where its not located in other parts of the US.

Yoyofactory is like a fresh and easy lots of people like them but they get a few things wrong.

YES… You pay too much for something you could find somewhere else that would do it better.

I’d compare YoYoFactory to Amazon long before I’d compare it to WalMart. Walmart makes cheap, knock-off versions of products while Amazon makes inexpensive (not just cheap) products on their own. Along that train of thought, Amazon’s Kindle franchise is similar to YoYoFactory’s “-Star” series of yoyos. They’re all different, but still exhibit fundamental properties of the company that makes them.

I know that above statement makes me sound like a YYF fan, but any of you who know me will understand that I’m simply standing up for the yoyo industry as a whole. YYF is one of the biggest and most widely bashed companies in the industry and I’m usually willing to watch that occur from afar, but comparing any yoyo manufacturer to WalMart is one step further than I’m willing to bear witness to.

Back on the topic at hand, I’d compare YoYoJam to Honda and One Drop to Leatherman. The former because of the reliability and consistency they offer and the latter because of the extreme versatility and variety of yoyos offered.

Can I compare YYR to Ferrari?

Car companies would be easier to compare with yo-yo brands.

Duncan is Ann and Hope.

I have no idea what Ann and Hope is, but if it’s bad you messin with a Duncan Fanboy here!

Duncan is like DMV slow but steady

The DMV isn’t a brand, and I have no idea what that statement means.

Whoa whoops my bad

Yoyojam is like an ice cream sundae on a hot day after swimming at the public pool with your friends.

Wait. What?

IiYoyofacyory- ford( good old reliable)

Yoyo jam- Chevy ( safe to buy)

Duncan- Buick (old mans car)

Yomega- Kia( was junk but starting to get better)

One drop- Cadillac( has a ton of options(se))

Clyw- BMW- over priced and expensive to fix, but amazing quality.

C3 - Hyundai( starting to get bigger)

Ilyy- Chrystlier( was big in its time, slowed down a bit)

If I missed some others I will post more. I could not mention a lot of the smaller brands, because they are just too new to compare to a automobile.

Oh Audley- moped.
