You let your yoyos commingle with your other, inferior toys? Disgusting
Just kidding. I’m probably going to be putting some of mine in a box. I’d love to display them, but then I’d have to admit to my wife that I’ve been buying yoyos. Catch-22 and all
Just put them on this and tell her you HAD to get a bunch to complete the fancy “art piece”
That was my original plan, until I had more than 12 before it came in…
I don’t know if I’m even going to try the weight rings, even though that was a pretty important aspect for me when it came to the design. It’s didn’t need more than 2 minutes to know that this is hands down my favorite modern responsive to date. I haven’t tried as many as some of you but I’ve tried my fair share. It is certainly my favorite metal responsive. It plays how I wish every responsive yoyo would when I buy them. I always just adjust my play style to the yoyo (which is good, I think it’s helped me develope skill) but I don’t have to adjust to o this one. It just does what I want.
So far. I love it. But I am super particular on how I tune my throws. Some of you know this. As such, it’s gonna take a minute for me to give a final analysis. But for now I can say…I’m not going to be picking up my Deep State for a few minutes.
i think jakes idea of a tad lighter and the rings can add back the weight if desired plus ad some more sounds fantastic im excited to try the PiF when it comes around.
I can’t wait for everyone to get to try it. I expected it to be amazing, which usually sets me up for disappointment, or best case just satisfied. My expectations are far exceeded. I’m STILL surprised how good it plays.
I also tend to say things like this in the honeymoon phase. A lot of times it wears off and I realize they’re just normal yo-yos. But sometimes you just know. Like, take RBC for example. I think anyone who, likes fixed axle/modern responsive, throws one for the first time they know there is something special about it. I got that same kinda feeling from this. It’s special.
I can’t wait to see what comes when we start designing the unresponsive.
