Oh snap! There it is!
Looks great! Can’t wait for it to arrive.
Well damn I really want that. Can’t wait for it to drop.
@Overtinkering take a look bud.
Wow that looks amazing!
Dang!
Thanks @Captrogers for the nudge!
Am I the only one that sees this when looking at the Workhorse pic??
Don’t even try to tell me you haven’t been looking!!!
Ive been sneaking some peeks alright.
The color has a very tactical front lawn kinda vibe to it.
Forest green makes me feel tactical, but also 1970’s station wagon.
Love that color on a Porsche
When I think workhorse, I think of the Griswald Station Wagon. LOL
I’m gonna whip up a batch of “wood grain” strings to put into the Pay if Forward box. They’ll be poly strings, and VERY tight. Fingers, beware.
I’m excited to get in on the pif.
It is very awesome that an extra proto was acquired for a Pay it Forward. Isn’t this somewhat historic?
How does the Pay it Forward work?
The details will come as it’s set up but essentially Cody will send the PIF to the first person. They will have 2 weeks or a week (not sure which, a shorter time was allotted so it could get into as many hands as fast as possible) after that trial period, the tester will then be responsible for shipping the PIF to the next person. And so on, and so on…
Oh ok, the Pay it Forward is with the proto. Gottcha. Is the idea to also provide feedback or is it mainly just to play with the beauty before production?
There have been 2 methods I’m aware of to regulate the PIFs. One is a list. This method seems to place a greater burden on the person who started it to keep up with the list and effect changes as needed… the second method is the first person to respond “I’ll take it” in the thread is the next person who gets it. You have to stalk the thread and wait for the current tester to post that it’s available and then hope you pounce first. This method is self regulated and proven to be very reliable. The Silenus PIF has gone for 3 years this way.
Feedback will be warmly accepted by the whole club Im sure, but I don’t think it will be a requirement. I could be wrong though. It just depends on what sort of regime is running this outfit.
Thanks for the info! I know I got into the club only somewhat recently, but is the Pay it Forward regulated to charter members or can the newer initiates get in on it too? I don’t want to assume anything since I didn’t take part in the design feedback process. I’m really just stoked something like this is being created.
