@SleeperHit Welcome to the Club. You have been added to the member list in the first post.
I like the idea that everyone can, at least, participate each week from beginning to end and I like the idea that the tricks won’t all keep getting harder and hard as the weeks go on. As many know, I’m not one for advanced tricks nor have any desire to learn them.
In fairness, I’ll be low-key participating this year, but I’m not looking for prizes so I won’t be filming my progress, but I’d still like to follow along, in spirit.
I was thinking about the weekly tutorial proposition, and I had an idea I would like to run by everyone and see what you think. I could make 4 or 5 tutorials that are intermediate to advanced tricks, and we drop them all on the first day as a separate set of tricks people can try all month long. Every completed trick earns 1 entry in a separate drawing, and if you complete all the tricks then you get 1 extra bonus entry in the drawing. I could give away a Yoyoexpert gift certificate as the prize. Probably a $50 one. I wish I could give more but I’m poor lol. It could give people something else to work on if they complete the other tricks early, or if they just want to. Anyway, what does everyone think?
I’ll toss in a few packs of Nectar strings as prizes this year.
Can I join the club?
will this be announced here or do we need to watch the website?
Probably both
Stayed tuned to the IG id say. Wayne is good about teasing and posting countdowns.

Someone should start a Top-Secret Yo-Yo Club in a group PM.
…I’ve watched too many Spy Movies.
You may want to be careful with statements like that.
There are already 2 secret groups within the Club… Hopefully, the Cobra Commander, the Leader of the Cobra Organization in the club doesn’t see your post.
That you KNOW of.
That I am allowed to comment on.
I applaud your bravery.
“It is too late for your little friend; he shall receive some new sneakers, and they may or may not be made out of concrete”
You’ve said too much…
That subtle dip to the rim is my favorite part of the profile. So nice.
It feels so comfortable.
