If a yoyo I buy comes with a white string it goes straight into trash along side the packaging.

I like nice packaging. I know they’re a pain in the *** to open, but I really like Duncan’s retail packaging…they’re just fun and nostalgic.
I’m keeping some of the boxes my better yos come in too.
I don’t throw my strings away either. I’ve been slowly making a yo string ball lol.

Idk I’ve never liked orange. I have an orange Yeti 2. But that was free, lol. I like orangeS. Delicious candy of nature. Too bad they’re orange.

I understand your point of view. I personally dont hold any objects sentimentally.
With the string, it’s only happend a few times, most companies ship with yellow strings. White ones just arnt my thing. I have hundreds of other strings laying around to reuse. I save my spent strings and turn them into toys for my cats.

I also used to always toss the box. Now I keep them in case of BST but I just toss them in a box in the closet

Yeah, I’d say you just haven’t tried the right V yet. SK feels kinda denser almost an H vibe too me. Banshee is well… the Banshee, it’s more it’s own sharp and angular thing than than what I’m referring to. The compass was just meh to me and was kinda just trying to be everything. Can’t overstate how different a true rounded V like BM 16’ V and Bishop feel compared to the ones you’ve tried.

On a side, but related note…
My '18 Banshee is my first true V…only had it for a few days and I’m totally honey mooning with it…but there’s no question it’s my favorite playing throw I own.
I do like the feel of organics best in hand…but holy ******* ####!! This Banshee is freaking nuts! I tried timing how long it spins…but the battery in my timer eventually died. I tried testing how stable it was in the middle of a tornado…not a single hint of tilt.
I’d like to add a few more V’s to my collection down the line.
