Irving pro should be here tomorrow! My first fixed axle (wood fixed axle, anyways.)
Got to throw a TMBRxSPYY eh (thanks to ed) awhile back and hated to put it down. think I made a good choice for myself?
Oh yeh, and I got this. Not fixed axle. But still, wood is good right?
EDIT: points to who can tell me who that is and what record it is in the background
sad?! That’s crazy! Nobody really taught me about my music. I guess that’s why I’m confused on whether Ilive in the 80’s and now : (80’s and 90’s rock/metal and nu-metal and electronica. So weird.)
Got myself an Irving pro!
Not as responsive as I’d like it (tips here?) But I like it.
Oh yeh, I feel like making this my own. I’m gonna try to get my hands on a wood burner so I can do… that. But, I’ve heard something about staining with hot tea. Can anyone explain that?
For response on my Irving Pro: I had no friction stickers(worn out) like everyone recomends, so I put in one duncan 12mm silicone sticker(brand new). Works great.
Did an Oliver Twist… ironically, while showing my wife that it’s going to be difficult to land some of the tricks I’m accustomed to. I thought it was going to crap out on me, but there it was… clean as a whistle. I did a shocked face, then a happy face.
Then I did the same thing while trying to show a double-on (Lindy Loop).
Skin the Gerbil, well… that’s going to be a ways off (I can’t do all the elements together quickly and cleanly enough) but I’ve already proven to myself that it’s within my abilities in the not-too-distant future!
