Unfortunately, I won’t be able to purchase the Freehand MG listed here, however. this is the cheapest one I’ve ever seen!? (I’m aware it’s a B Grade Yoyo)

It’s also one of the newer ones that released, like last year or the year before

In my head the voice of Indiana Jones “It belongs in a museum”.
A more achievable grail is the Werrd Beef. 49mm flat steel rims, hubstacks that can work as matadors spikes

On Monday I received a package of salvaged Coachwood which was number two on my list of grail timbers. I had to make a yoyo first, but next a fiddle, a drone chassis and then a replica Mosquito propeller for my Dad (Mosquitos are still around at airshows and the reason I can’t usually get Coachwood)

Right now it’s the @Fellhoelter Moistmaker, would love an unengraved one. Just love the simplicity of an unengraved Ti yoyo.

It would be amazing to give that museum piece a try and see how it plays.

If I could swing it I’d email you right now  But I just started a new apprenticeship in July and things are going to be tight for a bit. Hopefully they’re still being made when I’m ready.

I just bought a copper Theodore from Spencer last week. It’s beautiful and plays amazing. After looking at pictures of Walter and seeing how expensive they sell for when they do come up I decided to buy a CLYW Ditch and plan to mod it responsive to make a dollar store Walter. The size and stats seem close enough that it might scratch that itch.

Ok… I’ve decided to give it some serious thought.

And, interestingly, I have decided that I actually ‘do’ have a current Grail yo-yo.

Owning enough yo-yos to actually build a stairway to Heaven…… but amazingly, I don’t have a Galloping Goose.

And in the last several years, I have had about 6 opportunities to ‘procure’ one, but wasn’t deliberate enough to drop the hammer.

So…. I think I may start paying attention and maybe I will get lucky some day.

I’d say I own enough yo-yos to build a stairway to the second step of the staircase…

I hope you get your goose one of these days!

I never actually answered the question but I’m after a red blood cell wood and/or aluminum. It just looks so comfy, like the worry stones my grandpa carried in his pocket.
