which is better xconvict or a dark magic for a 12 year

which is better a xconvict or a dark magic for a 12 year old kid with regular hands. i had a freehand and am looking for a yoyo for intermediate tricks that has long spin times but that is not to big or to small

I would tell you to try an atmosphere,Dark magic, or a new breed

Any of those yoyos would be great. Your Freehand (Zero? 2?) is also great.
