Anyone aware what has become of The Northern Spin YoYo Company ?
Last November (2011) there was some anecdotal chat regarding a new YoYo they were working on called the “Polaris”.
Now their website is down and I can find no information about them anywhere.
Anybody have any news about them ?
I too have been wondering about this. They seemed like a great company, hope they’re still around.
Some of us in Toronto have played with the proto of the larger Polaris. In fact one of our members took it nearly to the north pole (Eureka at 80 degrees north). Sadly I haven’t seen Mani in months nor heard from him. I hope the project gets resurrected, because the Polaris really plays nicely. Here’s a photo:
