As my first high end. Metal drifter as my first real metal.

Were those your first throwâs or did you learn on plastics?
Duncan Metal drifter. It was also my first real yoyo and came unresponsive so I didnât know how to use it when I got it. I ended up buying a velocity at my local store and bonded with that.
DM2 for a week or so before them.
Tom Kuhn SB2.
damn⌠those are some expensive throws for the beginning
Iâm really surprised at some of the high-end throws mentioned here as âfirst metalsâ.
A âChiefâ for your âfirst metalâ. Wow! I donât even own a Chief yet. (I do have a Puffin and Arctic Circle, but not a Chief.)
My first metal was a Duncan Metal Zero. I could never had brought myself to spend $150 on my very first metal.
Different worlds on the same planet I guess.
Dash xD
It was 15 years ago, so hard to remember which, but the first few I had were
Tom Kuhn SB-2
BMT Monarch
Custom Mag Predator
or
Playmaxx Cold Fusion
BRENT
Just lucky to have a forum that allowed me to read all the great things people had to say about it really. And the ricochet was just because it is Ti, but I also really enjoy it.
If I hadnât read all the talk about the chief I would had likely spent more money buying multiple throws before finally pulling the trigger on the chief.
Oh sweet.
1/1 modded Dv888
Or a Hspin EnvyâŚ
I think the Envy was first but i donât rememberâŚ
Anti-Yo Fluchs. Then it all went down hill from there. Dif-e-yo GTO next.
My first all metal was a Genesis+
Pocket proâs Zombie
Mines would be a YYF JK. It was mostly because it came out at the right place an time.
Tom Khun SB-2 in 1994ish. Then earlier this year, I got my second, a TP MaxBet.
