I’m out of strings, why am I contemplating on this? so my current strings snags on wrong way bind (breakaway-trapeze-kinda binding it front throw style) it glides when it has low tension and it snags on normal or high tension, it’s a 12 strands, my local strings company have a less tension variant idk what it is, and i can’t understand the product description, it’s “anonymous yoyo string”, you try read the description in that japanese yoyo store with blue and green logo (i read the rules), anyway should i go get the less tension or the 10 strands? because i’m afraid the response pad won’t bite as good with a thinner string

Ummm OT is good and you’ll get better at not snagging with practice. Check out these exercises and learn them.
Also I wouldn’t worry about the string not being enough to bind like you can adjust your technique and still be able to bind fine with practice.

Yeah I currently use ots fat, it’s cheap and works well

I also use OTS fat, but I also love sochi Kohei Nishimura strings. I would recommend either one.
Edited: Kohei strings are SUPER good for hooks! That’s why Kohei is like the hook king. (and Aldrin Marapao)
