I feel pretty much the same. Duncan has always felt cheap and unimpressive to me. I haven’t gotten any in forever. I keep a lookout for something they might make that’s stellar, but it’s really hard to want their yoyos with the experience. I feel pretty much the same about yoyofactory. I think they’re decent, but they cut corners. People talk them up, and then when I try them, I almost always have a yoyo in my collection that’s the same and better performing.

I decided to “fix the response pads.” I took a razor blade and ran it over the top of the pads to get rid of the excess. Totally different throw. Im guessing I got an out of spec one. All is well now. It’s not my favorite modern responsive due to the weight but it is good. Moral of the story sometimes you just gotta ignore everyone telling you your crazy and take matters into your own hands. 
I’m still crazy though.

With all the things being said against the Shutter this is one I can solidly stand behind. Talking about just the Shutter, excluding the WA, Butter, and any other Gentry signature, there are so many different models. Over the years there have been so many different tweaks on the specs. I think one of the hardest collections to obtain is having every signature yoyo of Gentry Stein and each colorway/variation of each throw.

For me it’s the show pony and the slim dunk. I’ve tried to like em but just can’t.
Alleycat 650b, could have been because I was already spoiled by the RBC, Weekender and Deepstate.
I also liked the Deep State more.
I’m curious about this one actually. Have you played a 1to1 from OD?
I know @HappyYoyoer will hate me for saying this but the El MiJo(think that’s its name) is not allat gonna be honest. I tried his a bit and it just seems too mid to be that expensive

G2 Loadout
I had had mine for a while now, and I pick it up from time to time to give it a really honest go, it just doesn’t click with me. Looks great, machine ing and finish are fantastic, smooth and performant, but I just… Idk…
Mine came from YoYoDocs collection, so I don’t wanna let it go, sentiment and all that. But it just… ain’t it (for me)
Edit: bringing mine with me to the bike park for another bonding session lol

I’ve never played one, but it’s interesting that there’s quite a few Loadouts just sitting in the G2 store. This seems pretty unusual for G2.

I have a feeling it’s a mix of market saturation and economic concern. Purely speculative, but financial uncertainty is in the air.
Other drops have been getting snatched up instantly elsewhere tho, so what do I know

Plasm. I’m not saying I don’t like it, or that it’s not a solid throw. I just don’t see what all the noise was about. That being said, haven’t sold mine yet

For me, I like the weight, the size, and the very comfortable shape that permits pullstarts, and the response is perfect imo
