What music do you guys and gals like to throw to?

if i’m throwing tech and fast, I’m usually playing rap or hip hop

If I’m going for smoothness I will most likely play indie rock (something like the wombats or the strokes) or dub step

I LOVE incubus…

Funk and groove beats with a lot or jazz influences. Bands like gnappy, lettuce, soulive, greyboy allstars…stuff like that.

Wow! This thread got big  Thanks for all the comments! Personally I’ve been getting into D&B really hard. I listen to that and dubstep with rap in it, but I also listen to RHCP and piano, pretty much anything. Wide tastes in music!

Huh? It’s not like anyone’s posting as a personal favor to you. You’re not gaining anything from it. What’s the point of thanking people for just posting?

@thread, I have a few different moods I select music for. When I want to focus I throw on some eurobeat like this, when I want to relax I throw on something eminently groovy like this, and when I don’t really have a goal in mind I’ll throw on something random like this, this, or this.

I’ve been enjoying Spoek Mathambo…

But in reality - I throw whenever I have a chance, and that usually means silence.  And I throw to silence myself and listen to the grass grow.

well i think he means the fact that he started the thread and we’re keeping it going with our comments ;D

Techno, video game/ DBZ sound tracks, anything up beat

I throw to whatever’s playing already, so anything

Benny Benassi ft. Gary Go- Cinema Skrillex Remix

Punk, rock, techno, hardstyle, screamo(which i guess thats still rock or metal), metal, hip hop(when im in the mood for it) but mainly i think punk. Its up beat n just makes you want to yoyo really cool and fast like lol.

Punk

Mmmmmmmm, now that’s what I’m talking about  ;D

Speedcore. Hardstyle. Drum n’ Bass. Occasionally brostep. NEVER DUBSTEP.

Daft Punk and Ratatat

I listen to j-pop mostly… miku hatsune, boa that kind of stuff when i practice 4A and alternative rock for 1A.

This is an all-time fav:

Electronica, Some Dubstep, Techno and starting to like hardstyle.

Silence!

I appreciate silence. Quiet. Low volume.

I know, odd coming from a sound engineer who specializes in sound for concerts.

Right now it’s just a distraction for me. Later on when I get better, I’ll figure out something other than the noise of 4 kids screaming.

Mostly modern Norwegian jazz.

metalcore,dubstep,hip-hop
