I felt the same way, but I think the situation has improved immensely over the last year.
Favorite: One Drop.
Least favorite aspect: no cool colors anymore and no super out there designs. Lots of similar semi organics with mid weight in mind. I wanna design an SE yo-yo with rim weight to the MAX. If I had to complain about something that is.

how will that change it for you? is that a play preference? i have an avalanche so I’m curious
You could probably lighten it up while keeping the power. 7075 is really a play preference. A Ti Avalanche would be fun too

Until recently, I would have said that Yoyorecreation only comes in two colors: silver and black. These days, however, they seem to have discovered that color can sell yo-yo’s. I currently have two Savage’s. One in the purple I just could not resist.
