What is the difference type 6 string and type 8 string? Which is better?

the difference between types of string is how responsive it is. cotton being most, 50/50 cotton poly blend 2nd, and 100% poly being least responsive. I don’t think type 8 comes in 100% poly? but I’m not sure.

Edit: difference between type 6 and 8 is thickness.

You will find that just about nothing is better in the yoyo world. Just different.
I use type 8 cotton on my wooden fixed axle yoyos.
I use poly type 6 on my bearing yoyos for the most part.
