What is the Coolest Yoyo Trick?

Shoutout to DNA for being the coolest trick to the non-throwing masses. What do y’all hardcores think is the coolest trick though? Is it a mid-school classic? Walk the dog? Some slacky modern combo?

This trick might very well be impossible to do, but I think it’s the coolest yoyo trick nonetheless.

So the trick is basically a horizontal washing machine (a trick to remove the string from an unresponsive 1A yoyo) and then throwing the yoyo up in the air and then catching the yoyo in the loop of the string to reattach the string to the yoyo, all while the yoyo is horizontal.

It’s sure to amaze both yoyoers and non-yoyoers alike.

Ends with a Double through triangle to trapeze that looks so slick when it comes out. I will be so over the moon if I can land this even once.

This trick is so so cool and so so hard! Lol I figured out how to butcher my way through it, but I have no idea how he gets the Yoyo through those gaps so smooth. I feel like I’m still years away from being able to do reps of this. Definitely a trick on my learn before I die list.

Kwyjibo is my favorite so far Id say. I like to mess around and pop it up super high for some reason.

I really like the talon grind and bind

tend to pull this after a spirit bomb or GT trick if im trying to impress my brother

(though there are a lot that are cooler i just dont know what they are called and cant do them)

Bind is the coolest trick, hands down. Learning it opens a new realm of possibilities and no other trick would have an ending without one. Plus, there are so many cool and flashy ways to do it.

I tend to rotate between the throwaway bind, Guy Wright bind, sky bind, and grind bind. Now I’m thinking I should learn more binds!

Ooo I like where you went! Here’s a goofy bind for inspiration.

Second this. It is akin to the Ollie in skateboarding. A common first major hurdle, but as you said it opens up infinite possibilities.

Ladder Escape!!! I just learned it after 7 days of practice. Essentially, you hop through a ladder mount into a series of mini GTs while using momentum from swinging the yoyo in and out of them. Cool trick created by Andre Boulay.
