Oh yea i agree with this
CLYW once machined in Canada and outsourced from one drop. They now outsource from china. The debate on quality and all that is kindâve old by now. Classic CLYW starts with the Peak and ends roughly with the first Yeti. I suggest trying as many CLYWâs as you can and see what you think. Outsourcing from China is nothing new and their yo-yos are no different from many in the market now. But I think thatâs also what made them special to most in the first place, they were the major âboutique brandâ back in the day. From what I understand the costs and all that is what made the change but Iâm not sure. If any of this is wrong, please correct me. Cheers
I read in another thread that clyw starting using Chinese shops to lower cost but their cost never lowered.
Also heard problems with one drop and anodizer not wanting to take responsibility for any work that was unacceptable, leaving clyw to tank the lost.
Iâd like to be hear a more informed take on the matter.
I wonder if any of this correlates to the recent awful ano jobs done on the inhaler
Thatâs where Iâm at right now, I see a drop, notice the price and Iâm like âmehâ
I still laugh at the price of the Beater. Thatâs as funny as going to open mic nite at the local comedy club.
