What is The Best Organic?

Retic boa is probably the best organic in its price range. Edgeless is really nice. Anything by general yo is amazing as well. Just keepin it at that

Kinda. Itā€™s made from a higher grade more dense aluminum. The Sudo has a lot more presence on the string than the Parlay, while still feeling light and maneuverable to a degree. The extra rim weight gives the Sudo a much more stable feel to it and spins forever.

having played both i 100% agree! i remember throwing the Sudo and thinking it was so so similar to the Bape and was wondering why iā€™d never heard the comparison being made before.

if youā€™re not in the collecting game but you want to know hope the Bape plays, i personally think the Sudo gets you 80-90% there, just playfeelwise.

had a Parlay as well, didnā€™t have much affection for it even though i really love organics all around. the Sudo has a similar shape but it just plays differently. more powerful, more stable, didnā€™t compromise on manoeuvrability ā€“ i believe the maker of the Sudo (who also partnered with One Drop on the Parlay) wrote an essay somewhere mentioning the Sudo was how they had always, originally intended the Parlay to be. itā€™s just an amazing throw. iā€™d go as far as to say itā€™s the best performing undersized organic iā€™ve thrown.

What side effects would you recommend for a good setup?

i played mine with aluminium flat caps and ultra lights, they both felt really good to me. ULs felt a tad more ā€œrim weightedā€ but the flat caps felt ā€œfullerā€ if you know what i mean! i donā€™t think youā€™d be disappointed with either set up : )

i have a copper sudo manā€¦ i love itā€¦ iā€™m so in love with it. everyone should own a sudoā€¦ except for @d34dj3dā€¦ heā€™s cool, he knowsā€¦ but thereā€™s other people, the ones that kick kittensā€¦ they shouldnā€™t own a sudoā€¦ theyā€™ll make themselves knownā€¦

. jed isnā€™t one of those guys, he genuinely had good reasoning above.

Not sure what is the best organic, but I know which one is the most hip! :joy:

I have a A-rt grail on the way, and if you donā€™t count the plastics I have (Neo & First Base), then this is the only organic I will own.
So for me personally I guess itā€™s the best organic. Best yoyo is the yoyo you have in your pocket amirite? Haha

The sudo is a real improvement over the parlay. I have a copper parlay, I wish I had a copper sudo. I think my copper parlay plays better than my regular parlay. Likewise the optimally geared ywet from static co is a great improvement over the other ywet Iā€™ve had. The only ywet I still own is the static co version. Static co is really in their zone when it comes to doing this kind of thing.

I like the parlay for what it is, but the point I was trying to make above is that the parlay/sudo is not a great recommendation for somebody new to organics. Unless you want to risk making that person dislike organic throws. The experience of playing the parlay is far from that of playing the grail, MMC, life, etc.

Now if somebody had some high end throws a over decade ago, and is looking to relive that experience without going to the trouble and expense of hunting down the old throws then I would immediately recommend the parlay. It is readily available and a great alternative for somebody wanting to experience narrower high walled unresponsive throws.

You know what would make the sudo/parlay an absolute must buy for me? A D or A bearing. Thereā€™s some magic in this kind of shape with a small bearing. Iā€™d buy one instantly even if I already owned a thousand parlays.

So then, anything made from a salvaged Church Organ would also be considered ā€˜Organicā€™.

Possibly, Iā€™m not certain what materials are use to make a church organ. lol

Well, I was board so I just lumbered down to the Salvage yard.

I looked aroundā€¦ and right before I was ready to leave, I found one.

And wooden ya know it. They are made out of treesšŸ¤“

The Sudo is gonna be one of those yoyos that will be highly sought after in a few years when people realize how good it actually is. Best to get one now before the price inflates. Sudo is made by Static Co run by Aaron Day.

So itā€™s the best yo-yo and itā€™s in your pocket?

Or you have yoyos in all your pockets and one is the ā€˜bestā€™ of the yoyos in your pockets?

Actually the best yo-yo is the one you love to throw so much that it is seldom ā€˜inā€™ your pocket.

Unless of course you have 2 of them and the one in your pocket is a backup.
