TP MSG is a goated bimetal. Its a recent superheavy design (70gms) and I absolutely adore it. Its my fav yoyo and is very close to what I exactly want in a yoyo. Its a shame that ASTer kinda killed MSG coz Yuta got ASTer a bit too soon which also has a cool little gimmick (trimetal) and MSG is kinda forgotten now.

thank god u added that or else it would have triggered a war.

Spread the good word of heavy yoyos brother.

Chronos is one of my favorite midsize/midweight yoyos that I don’t see mentioned much.

The Collapsar is also excellent. I have an MSG on the way, so I’m looking forward to comparing the two.

Any love for the Shutter Evo?

I hope so, I just bought one, and I wanted to buy the best throw I could… Will take 1 - 2 weeks to get here.

Oh yikes. Horrible throw. Worst I’ve ever used. Good luck!

Thought about it more and this is definitely a mean thing to say. This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes people feel unwelcome here. No need for this. Maybe I missed a previous conversation or something but this sounds like you’re just being rude.

@SR1 was joking, he has mentioned more than a few times how much he loves the Evo. But, I agree it would be mean and uncalled for without context. But in this case just good dry humor :hugs: :heart_eyes_cat:

Okay that makes me feel better but idk if the guy who wrote that is going to know that though. Like I didn’t and without knowing that, it sounds extra bad lol but I’m glad he wasn’t being rude and my bad @SR1 ! thank you for letting me know!!! I sound dumb ish now but I’d rather it be that than the alternative

sarcasm doesn’t really come off well in text and can be confusing. Personally, I thought that was a comment in bad taste, but context makes things clearer. @GTDropKnot I don’t think you sound dumb You’re just the only one that looked at that frowned and decided to say something. happy all that was a misunderstanding though.

As for the topic of the thread. I don’t have any bi metal yoyos at the moment so i have no insight but i would assume any bi metal would play well as it adds a bunch of rim weight which should help with stability if i understand yoyos right lol.

Yeah you nailed it but there can be a range of weights to the rim like some bimetals barely have any weight and feel like monos. Also thank you for saying this and now I know it wasn’t just me so I don’t feel dumb lol happy Monday y’all!

Out of all the throws that I’ve tried, I’d have to say the OD Draupnir is probably my choice for a bimetal.
