Recently learned a bind that’s become my new favorite. (No clue what it’s named) I find myself using it 99% of the time now.
There are so many different ways to bind but I usually find that I stick with one or two different binds for consistency. Which one do you guys usually use? Show me in this thread!
That’s a Guy Wright bind! That’s one of my goto binds too. It works really well when you get down to low RPM’s.
Which bind I use is usually situational depending on the combo. I’ve been doing a lot of laceration binds lately though. Also throwaway binds when I’m feeling lazy.

First is kinda like a hybrid sky bind/brush bind type thing that I like bc it feels good. Second is my favorite fancier bind it’s like a bridge bind type deal but you whip and use the shoulder/bicep. Third is classic guy wright bc it’s dope and a great way to add a bit of flare. Fourth is the most vanilla safety check looking bind bc I do be doing that one too much. Fifth is my favorite bind at ultra low rpm’s where you just roll into an undermount but over the hand.
I often forget to do fancy binds tbh lol it’s a bad habit of mine! I spent a ton of time learning a bunch of binds and do go through phases of using them more, but too often I do the most vanilla and simple binds idk something for me to work on more

I really need to expand my binds. I just use a basic trapeze style lol
That first “SNAP” was so freakin crispy dude. I wanna get a hades just for that. Is your hand okay? 
My go to is just the bog standard bind, anything else means i’m gettin’ fancy.

that’s fine, I do too. I also like to throw in some lasso binds when the yoyo is at a fast RPM i like the sound of a laceration bind
Woah! I swear that was Aliyah Tan hades the first time I watched it, but it’s a totally different color now that you mention it.
Guy Wright Bind, sky bind, and outside slack bind are the ones I do the most. The outside slack bind is great for catching a yoyo back to your hand that is still spinning fast cause it slows down as it climbs up the string. The ghost bind is a really cool one too but I don’t use it as often, it’s not as versatile to fit in at the end of tricks.
Bryan Figueroa’s lithium bind (I think that’s what he calls it) is one of my favorites, it just feels so nice and the wrap on the yoyo feels premium on the next throw. Otherwise I tend to just go with a classic sky bind or the previously mentioned guy wright bind 
i love the outside slack bind. ghost bind looks cool, but it’s pretty difficult. gentry stein messed it up twice at the world yoyo contest 2019 finals. i also love the guy wright bind, the hiroyuki suzuki bind, and the sky bind are great. i made up a bind where you do a suicide with an undermount, so the yoyo binds when it’s up in the air.

Here’s my weak attempts at a lithium bind. It looks way cooler when Bryan Figueroa does it but, I tried lol
