What if the RBC was unresponsive, how would it play?

Interesting question⌠as usual i go to Google first when i seek an answer⌠not sure you should put a unresponsive bearing in itâŚ
Google search âunresponsive red blood cellâ
When red blood cells arenât respondingâŚ, your body parts do not get enough oxygen. As a result, they cannot work the way they should and cause problems.
Just kidding. @MarkD is there a unresponsive bearing we can try on the rbc?
I know it works well as a fixed axel with no bearing, but i never searched for a unresponsive.
Iâd like a little more weight if they produced a unresponsive rbc.
Mark and others have beefcaked the RBC to make it unresponsive. Just get a second bearing, make sure theyâre both clean, and be careful when screwing back together.
It wonât be good. As far as unresponsive 1A is concerned itâs going to be too light, not enough rim weight, narrow + high walled, also the bearings are just tiny and arenât going to spin for that long. All of these design choices make it great for responsive 0A play⌠but these are also all things that make it straight up bad for unresponsive 1A play. Nothing is stopping you other than the cost of a second bearing if your morbid curiosity gets the better of you.
Itâs the inverse of why you canât slap a bearing blank in a draupnir and expect a good responsive yoyo.
It would require a redesign. No idea how it would play, but it might feel similar to other capped unresponsive yoyos.
One thing I could see is that if RBC is unresponsive with C bearing. They would be all sold out fast
You dont even need to beefcake, you can get an 8x5x4mm bearing, clean it and it should be pretty unresponsive
That whole thing about doubling up bearings just blows my mind. I have absolutely no desire to make my rbc unresponsive but itâs neat to know someone thought about it and then did it. I canât imagine it would be very good but it would be interesting.
Iâve tried it, it has a ridiculous amount of kickback. To the point where is hard to throw because itâs all out of whack.
