Ben Stiller is working on it currently so that’s good news at least. Was really hoping it wasn’t cancelled. Seems like there’s so many great shows that end on a cliffhanger and then get canned. Hopefully it’ll see the light of day soon!

Watched a bunch of the old Mission Impossible movies on a long flight. Never get tired of them.

Just finished binging through these recently

Evil - Kind of bummed this one ended.

From - Waiting on the new season to start in September. This show gives me “The Stand” (Stephen King book) vibes. It makes me really wish they would do a proper Stand adaptation that looks and feels as good as this show does and actually make it follow the book instead of adding on junk or removing / merging characters, etc… It clearly had to be influenced by The Stand there’s just so many similarities.

Tires - Hilarious and raunchy. If you like Danny Mcbride’s type of humor you’ll like this.

Currently working my way through True Blood. I started it years ago but never got past the first season so I decided to finally sit down and get through it. Currently on season 4 and boy some of the characters are really annoying haha!

glad to hear! not ur sadness, but that it was good. i watched the first season when it first came out and really liked it, but at the time it looked like the one season was all it would see. when i saw paramount picked up the trail I’ve been meaning to go back to it

My wife and I just re-watched House of Cards because our 19-year-old wanted to see it. I forgot how terrible the last two seasons were. Now we’re re-watching Umbrella Academy because our daughters want to see that.

Oh yeah for sure! I wasn’t too into it at first but as the show progressed I started to like the trio of characters a bit more. There were times where it was annoying and I wanted to shake them for doing or thinking something silly hahaha! But overall it was pretty decent. Definitely worth watching the other two seasons.

Saw Cuckoo finally last night, I thought it was good. Inventive story, good acting and cinematography. Check it out if you’re a horror fan, it’ll probably be out of theaters and streaming in a couple of weeks.

In the middle of yet another Mad Men rewatch, such an engaging show. I know all the twists and turns at this point but its still enjoyable after all these years.

Not a movie but finally knocked Cujo off my TBR. Way better than the movie but in typical King fashion, dragged just a bit at the end. Still glad I finally read it.

Who couldn’t get behind a show with a groovy intro like this. Space 1999. Make sure your sound is on. :hushed:

Lately I felt nostalgic about my hometown and I rewatched for the million times an absolute classic “Amici miei” by Monicelli, it’s basically the story of a group of friends that love to do jokes but always go a bit too far with them, is an absolute genius movie, if you find it subtitled in english please have a look.
It has a good dose of italian cultural references but nothing that can’t be overcome easily, Monicelli was an absolute genius and his tragic end is sort the frame that staple his personality

Let’s go it’s bake off season yo! You know I been watching the most wholesome series around on Netflix right now! My favorites are always the bakers that break the archetypes of what you expect a baker to look and act like. I also like yoyo players like that tbh lol shoutout to the super swoll yoyo players
