What film/movie/series did you last watch?

I wonder why there are no shows on modern day yoyoing?

The Lighthouse. That’s such a great movie!

No kidding, yesterday I was thinking about a reality show about yoyoing. 15 people who have no experience with yoyos but want to win in a competition get mentored by 15 teachers. Each week there are tricks they must master in order to stay on the show. Three people make it to the shows finale and must complete the trick ladder and do a freestyle to win $100,000 and get a signature yoyo. Okay, my idea needs some tweeking to make it perfect for the 75 people in the world that would watch it but still…

Honestly that’s not a bad idea.

Now that a bunch of HBO stuff is free: rewatched Silicon Valley and currently watching 6 Feet Under and Veep.

Rewatched Kick-■■■. Somehow forgot how legit it is.

Shameless. Adult humor, it deals with themes which are not suitable for younger viewers. I liked it for what it is, definitely on and off depending on the episode.

I’m with you

I watch anything si-fi. Marvel, Star Wars, more marvel… honestly! If there was no marvel what would the world be like…

The Big Lebowski (again)
With my wife this time. She takes things too literally and asks all kinds of “rhetorical” questions about movies. She liked it ok.

I saw that in a theater last year for the anniversary. It was great but definitely requires full attention and mental engagement, man.

Soaked in Bleach. Found it on Prime.

Taskmaster

From my junior year in HS. 1983. I have the boxset and watched 6 epidodes yesterday. They didn’t get the licensing rights for all the music (new wave stuff) in the original series and that was a HUGE bummer. I also forgot about the laugh track added after practically every single thing someone said. What was AMAY-ZING to me in highschool is mediocore to me as an adult. Even trips down Memory Lane can be humdrum and even big letdowns. Still was cool to revisit. Totally.

This afternoon I watched Once Upon A Time In The West for the first time in probably about 10 years, not only one of my favourite westerns of all time but also one of my favourite films regardless of genre. Crazy how an Italian living in Italy who could speak so little English could depict the West pretty much better than anyone else before or since!
